Project Cars career mode gameplay. This BMW 320 TC one make invitational race series kicks off with the first race over 15 laps at the Oulton Park International circuit.
Being new to this car it took me a while to get it set up to my liking. The default cockpit view was also making things pretty difficult and required a fair bit of messing around with seat adjustments until I settled on a workable driving view.
Once all that was out of the way I really started to enjoy the BMW. Qualifying went well, grabbing the second spot on the grid only about a tenth of a second behind the pole sitter. Times were not record breaking in the 1m 44s region for the leaders but still a pretty respectable pace.
The race began well for me. Hitting the front at the first corner- I settled into the lead, finding a pace that would keep me ahead of the charging pack behind, and decided to try to control the race from the front. It seemed that lap times were two or three seconds off qualifying pace so I felt confident I could hold the lead without having to push too hard.
With only a handful of laps to go i was feeling pretty confident in my ability to win this one.........then mother nature intervened and things started to unravel quite rapidly! Although I f****d it all up at the end it was still some really good racing so I hope you enjoy it.
